He said Peshawar Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra tribal areas showed tremendous improvement in the anti-polio efforts and expressed appreciation for the role of the EOC’s tribal areas to achieve remarkable success.
He said this in a meeting with Dr. Waqar beautiful, Father Programme Officer Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) here at the Governor House, Peshawar on Tuesday.
Besides, additional chief secretary under Mohammad Aslam Kamboh, coordination of emergency Vata person operation center (EOC), Dr. Nadim January, the Additional Secretary to the governor, Atallah Shah was present on the occasion and others, too.
He expressed his appreciation for the role of the international community, especially the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on effective to eliminate the paralysis of the country’s disease virus efforts.
He also thanked Dr Waqar most beautiful and his organization for their contribution to the cause of polio eradication in Pakistan. The tribal areas are looking forward to strengthen routine immunization in the tribal areas and also because it would result in the call with the international community.
On this occasion, the Governor said, we are making progress in the eradication of polio virus is also directed to the improvement of routine immunization in the tribal areas and it is very important to achieve the goals of eradicating polio. He said that efforts are being made towards the elimination of an entire disease paralysis to make Pakistan a polio-free country to save the future of the state. -DNA
